​Charming cottage of 60m2, recently renovated comprising on the ground floor, a fitted kitchen, a spacious bathroom, a dining area and a comfortable living room with sofa bed and a wood stove. Upstairs, a bedroom "the fields" with a double bed, a wardrobe and a desk. The second bedroom "La mer" with 2 single beds, a wardrobe and a reading corner. Outside, a private garden with table and chairs, sun loungers, hammock, above ground swimming pool (collective), barbecue, games, ....

About Us
Laurence: "I was born here in Charente-Maritime between the wheat fields and the vineyards. I left for a long time for my studies in horticulture. After my studies, the country of flowers and plants, Holland, adopted me for almost 15 years but after meeting my husband Martijn the call for calm and wide open spaces was felt... and obviously it can't be anywhere else than in my Charentes... ​
Martijn: "Love nature and gardening so: working in the open air! I was born in the Netherlands with no particular ties to my country, Difficult at first because of the French language, its not easy but after a few months in heart of the vines/cognac i found my place. ​ Our dream by opening this gîte is to make people discover our magnificent region. The Atlantic coast, yes of course, but also the land. The history of the Gallo-Romans, De Vauban, Napoleon, ... of the old stones of Saintonge Romane.
